Onboarding Does Not Complete

If you cannot finish onboarding:
  1. Confirm all required organization and target fields are complete.
  2. If you are verifying now, re-check the DNS record and retry after propagation.
  3. If you plan to verify later, choose Skip for now and finish onboarding.

Target Not Available for Assessment

  1. Confirm target exists in Target Inventory.
  2. Confirm the target’s verification is complete.
  3. Refresh and reopen assessment modal.

Credentials Not Working

  1. Re-test credentials manually.
  2. Update stored credential values.
  3. Confirm login instructions match current login flow.

Assessment Delays or Stalls

  1. Refresh Assessments.
  2. Cancel and restart run.
  3. Reconfirm WAF/firewall allowlisting.

Missing Access to a Feature

Check:
  • organization role permissions
  • plan eligibility
  • billing/payment status

Report Download Fails

  1. Retry from Reporting.
  2. Check browser download and popup settings.
  3. Retry in another browser session.

API or MCP Finding Counts Differ from the Dashboard

The dashboard and API use the same data but different default filters.
  1. Set exclude_secured=true on GET /v1/findings or MCP list_findings to match the default Open tab (hides informational secured probes).
  2. Pass assessment_id when comparing counts for a single assessment run.
  3. Use status=ARCHIVED or status=RESOLVED for those tabs; the API defaults to ACTIVE only.
  4. Paginate using total — the default limit is 25.
