# Frequently asked questions

> Answers to common MindFort questions about targets, credentials, assessments, scheduling, billing, reporting, integrations, and WAF allowlisting.

  <Accordion title="I signed in but I keep returning to setup. Why?">
    Your domain verification is still incomplete. Finish DNS verification in onboarding or Target Inventory to continue to the dashboard.

  <Accordion title="What is a target?">
    A target is a web application, API, or available network address that you authorize MindFort to assess.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I need credentials for every target?">
    Not always, but credentials are recommended when important areas are behind login.

  <Accordion title="Can I schedule recurring assessments?">
    Yes. Create schedules directly from the New Assessment modal. Choose one-time, daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly frequency. You can review or delete schedules from the Assessments page.

  <Accordion title="Can I cancel a running assessment?">
    Yes. Open Assessments, select the run, and cancel.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I share results with non-technical stakeholders?">
    Use Reporting to generate and download reports.

  <Accordion title="Where do I manage billing and credits?">
    Settings → Billing (admin access required). Billing is also accessible directly from the sidebar.

  <Accordion title="How do I connect integrations?">
    Open Settings → Integrations. Admin access and a paid plan are required to connect integrations. Once connected, you can create linked issues from findings, request patches, or launch Agents from Slack.

  <Accordion title="What are the assessment method options?">
    Balanced is designed for frequent coverage, Deep provides broader coverage, and Ultra is the most exhaustive option. The assessment form shows the current credit cost and estimated duration for each method. The public API values `balanced`, `deep`, and `ultra` map to these dashboard labels.

  <Accordion title="How do I run recurring Agent automations?">
    Use Agents to save templates, then create schedules from those templates.

  <Accordion title="Why is a feature locked for me?">
    Access can depend on role, subscription plan, and payment status.

    Settings → WAF Configuration.

  <Accordion title="Will an assessment disrupt my application or cause high traffic?">
    Assessments are designed to be non-destructive and low-impact, but traffic varies with the target and assessment scope. For sensitive targets, configure low-impact testing guidance before running an assessment and contact support if you need help.
