# Reporting

> Learn how to generate, download, and manage MindFort security assessment reports to share vulnerability results with stakeholders and leadership.

## Generate a Report

<Note>
  Reporting requires a paid plan and is unavailable on the Free plan.
</Note>

1. Open **Reporting**.
2. Select **Generate Report**.
3. Select a target.
4. Choose **Full** or **Condensed** detail.
5. Optionally include secured findings, resolved findings, or both.
6. Start generation.

Reports include active findings by default and use the finding details available at generation time.

Choose **Full** when security or engineering reviewers need detailed finding context. Choose **Condensed** when stakeholders need a shorter overview of the current results.

## Report Contents

Reports can include:

* target summary
* report metadata
* severity breakdown
* finding list
* finding impact
* evidence summaries
* remediation guidance
* methodology and stakeholder summary language

Use reports after assessment cycles, after major remediation work, and before customer or compliance reviews.

## Manage Reports

From the reports table, you can:

* search by target
* sort by target/date
* review detail level, included finding states, and generation status
* refresh to check in-progress reports
* download completed reports
* delete old reports

## Report Formats

When a report finishes generating, select **Download** from its row.

## Recommended Process

1. Generate after major assessment cycles.
2. Download and share with stakeholders.
3. Re-run or retest important findings after remediation.
4. Generate an updated report that reflects the current status.
5. Keep only required historical reports in the table.
