# Slack

> Learn how to connect Slack to MindFort, run security tasks by mentioning @MindFort in channels, and configure routing rules and alert preferences.

Slack integration lets your team run MindFort tasks from Slack by mentioning `@MindFort` in connected channels.

## Connect

1. Go to **Settings > Integrations**.
2. Click **Connect** on the Slack card.
3. Authorize MindFort for your Slack workspace.

## Configure

After connecting, click **Routing Rules** on the Slack card to configure where Slack-triggered tasks should route.

Slack alert preferences are available from **Settings > Notifications** after Slack is connected.

## Usage

Mention `@MindFort` in a connected Slack channel to start a task from the conversation context. Use routing rules to keep task requests aligned with the right workspace or target.
