# Jira

> Learn how to connect Jira to MindFort, create tickets from findings, and map Jira status transitions back to finding state for two-way sync.

Jira integration lets you create Jira tickets directly from findings and sync ticket status back to MindFort.

## Connect

1. Go to **Settings > Integrations**.
2. Click **Connect** on the Jira card.
3. Authorize MindFort with your Atlassian account.

## Configure

After connecting, click **Configure** to:

* Select the **default project** where new tickets are created.
* Set up **status mapping** so Jira status transitions automatically update finding state in MindFort, such as mapping Jira statuses to Active or Resolved.

## Usage

Open any finding and click **Create Jira Ticket** to push the finding details to Jira. Once a ticket exists, the button changes to **View Jira Ticket** with a link to the ticket and its current status.
